"Where's that darn recipe book?" I said as I shuffled around the drawers looking for it.
"You don't need it? Just add some flour, bananas, milk, not so hard". Sharon replied, but what about the portions I pondered silently.
Ok lets try it. I added the ingredients Sharon said, and added some more based on my cake making skills.
"Whats the apple cider viniger for?" Simran asked curiously.
Thats to make the pancake rise, I only knew this from helping Manveer in one of his homework. Why do I learnso much from the kids homework as well?
So I piled their plates one by one.
It was nice to see Amrit being able to handle the fork and knife for the first time, cleaning up his plate of pancake with honey. "Its really yum", don't recall Amrit enjoying pancakes so much.
"Is mine as good as mummy's?" I asked hoping to be somewhere on par.
"No mummy's is definately better" Simran replied, after tasting it I agree, but it was not too bad...
Doing of all this, I would not trade it for all the money in the world, simple act of making pancakes for the kids, now I know why Sharon enjoys cooking so much....
